Advanced Blemish Removal: ACP (advanced
cosmetic procedures)

We use Electrolysis to remove unwanted skin blemishes such as skin tags, warts, moles, red veins, milia and more. These blemishes can be
disfiguring and sometimes embarrassing. At SMH we the can, efficiently and cost effectively remove them quickly with ACP leaving
little to no residual scars on the skin. Prior to treatments we always carry out a thorough consultation in order to access important
information, gain an understanding of your blemish history, discuss desires and advice on the most suitable treatment and course of plan.

  • Skin tags; are soft and can be wriggled around, vary in size, shape and colour. They are commonly found on neck, underarm, groin and eye area which often increase with age and friction.

  • Milia; are tiny white pearly cysts commonly found on checks and under eyes

  • Red Blood Spot: are flat/ raised bright red spots which be found anywhere on the face or body.

  • Telangiectasia (Thread Veins); are tiny blood vessels that causes threadlike red lines/ patterns on the skin.

At SMH we can successfully treat two categories of veins:

i) - Thread Veins/ Broken Capillaries found on face and body. The blood escapes from the capillaries and cannot re-enter the normal system and therefore remains stuck unless treated.
ii) Red Veins – (blood vessels found mostly around nose and legs). These capillaries are superficial and visible on the skin as a result of capillary enlargement or skin thinning.

  • Spider naevus (Naevi); are collection of vessels often surrounding a central `blood-spot’. Commonly found on checks, nose, below eyes, upper chest and back of hands.

  • Seborrhoeic Warts; are benign growth often hereditary, occurring from middle age, they’re pigmented, crumbly, oily textured and are found on head, trunk and extremities.

  • Moles; are formation of small brownish patches on the skin due to the collection of melanocytes. These can be flat, raised, smooth, rough as well as with hair in them.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Treatment results will vary from person to person!

  • Some blemishes such as moles may require a GP’s written consent prior to treatment with Advanced Cosmetic Procedures.
